Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

AnthroMed Education is an organization that fosters a community of dedicated Special Educators in the Speech and Language Pathology field. AnthroMed Education is immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL to provide Speech and Language services to a K-4th grade student population for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year.

Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 depending on experience.  Weekly salaries plus Paid Time Off including during school breaks, holidays, and institute days.

CASELOAD DETAILS SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ROLE:

  • Provide therapy and support services to K-4th grade students.

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 36 students.

  • Extremely supportive team with incredible resources for students available.

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST :

  • Work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM-3:45 PM.

  • Provide speech therapy for K-4th grade students with IEPs and MTSS services.

  • Complete formal and informal assessments as part of the MTSS and IEP processes.

  • SLP will manage  a caseload of approximately 36 students.

  • The caseload consists mostly of articulation students.

  • Act as a case manager for students whose primary eligibility category is speech-language impairment.

  • Complete all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify students in need of special education.

  • Participate in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.

  • SLP will be sharing an office space but will have space to pull out students, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ISBE PEL with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement is required

  • Master’s Degree from top Communication Sciences and Disorders program
