TS/SCI Regular ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Planning subject matter expert (SME) on the execution of large unit training events (Division and above) and all other MTC training events. * Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) SME. * Leads or supports the lead Large Unit Training planner in the execution of coordinating and supervising a contractor staff up to 35 personnel of varied disciplines to deliver training support. * Performs as the SME for constructive simulations used during Joint and Combined training events (e.g. JLCCTC-MRF WARSIM / WIM, LOTS, JLVC, and other federated simulations). * Develops Simulations Control Plans (SCP) and supervises the implementation of simulation and mission command information system workstations to support events. * Prepares and presents event briefings and demonstrations on computer simulation models and exercise related issues. * Understands mission command, leader and staff training, development of training objectives, use of simulations and scenario products to meet training objectives, and staff battle drills. * Plans and coordinates events using the Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) with all its core systems and Mission Command Information Systems. * Configures and tests various simulations with Event Database. * Devises training event recovery plans for mission command and simulation workstations (e.g. property accountability, securing classified, venue reset). * Maintains exercise status and coordination on the MTC Share Point portal. * Creates AAR Plans for the exercise audience, outlining data collection, analysis parameters, presentations, and final AAR report. * Attends and participates in training event planning conferences and IPRs. * Develops pre-event training that supports the use of simulation models and role-playing techniques to gamers. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution desired. * Experience with constructive simulations both joint level and JLCCTC-MRF WARSIM / WIM. * Completed the Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education or equivalent level military schooling desired. * Experience planning or coordinating exercises at the division or higher level desired. * Direct knowledge of Mission Command Warfighting Functions, Decisive Action Training Environment, Military Decision-Making Process; Lethal and Non-Lethal Targeting, Long Range plan development (Campaign Planning), and other supporting operational planning functions. * Served a minimum of 4 years assigned to the G3/S3 staff at battalion or higher. * Excellent organizational, research, writing, and communication skills. * Must be proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively. * Successful candidates must exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior government officials. * Possess or ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
