The EADS Group, Inc. Resident Project Representative in Johnstown, Pennsylvania

The EADS Group, Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering and design firm which began operation in 1955, is actively seeking a full-time Resident Project Representative to work out of our Johnstown, PA office. We offer a flexible workweek, competitive benefits package, and salary commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform construction inspection services primarily on utility construction and paving projects.

Job duties include performing construction observations of public works, construction projects and materials testing work. Applicants must be familiar with construction plans, drawings, contract, specifications, and contract language, possess strong verbal and written communication, math skills, and be able to work well with the public. Must be willing to work outdoors, be physically able to do field work.

Inspectors will perform routine material tests and prepare daily inspection reports. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and files via hardcopy and computer input.  Position requires independent judgment in making technical decisions.

Successful applicants will have a High School diploma or equivalency, valid PA Driver's license, and be able to pass a background check if required.
