Department: Fabrication Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

Pay: Hourly Non-exempt Hours: 1^st^ shift M-TH 615a-245p & F5a-130p

 

Summary:

To aid in the Assembly of quality tire repairs (patches) from pieces of rubber and fabric by machine and/or by hand.

 

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent; combination of education and experience preferred.

 

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Able to read limited number of two-and-three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences

between words and between series of numbers.

  • Ability to print, speak, and understand simple sentences.
  • Ability to work in a group setting.
  • Able to add and subtract and do simple division and multiplication. Calculators are available.
  • Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
