Shift: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm

Summary

As a Material Handler Admin, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to the efficient coordination of our overall finished goods warehouse and transportation operations.

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities

· Assist with Order Processing: Support the processing of outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness order fulfillment. Post Goods Issue (PGI) transactions in SAP for all customer orders.

· Maintain Shipment Records: Maintain organized and accurate records of shipments, scanning of all documents into ERP system (IFS).

· Coordinate Shipments: Assist in coordinating shipments with carriers and logistics partners, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods.

· Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare shipping documents such as bill of ladings and packing slips, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

· Communicate with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal teams and customers to provide updates on shipment status and address any inquiries or concerns.

· Support Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.

· Contribute to Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function and provide suggestions for optimization.

· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Sr. Supervisor, or Sr. Logistics Manager.

Education required

· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Range of Experience:

· 1-2 years of logistics experience is highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software systems. Experience with SAP, Manhattan, OpenDock or other TMS software a plus.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

· Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics field, with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.

The employee may be required to, kneel, crouch, sit, climb or balance. The employee may lift and/or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and aromas. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
