Summary Performs all construction work and all maintenance work not done by the Engineering Department or outside contractors. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs building maintenance and repair Maintaining the overall physical appearance of the plant. Assists Engineering personnel as necessary. Performing other duties as assigned. Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.). Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Daily requirements are: Must be able to operate hand and power tools and other equipment and material used in building maintenance. Must be able to stand, stoop, squat , bend, reach and hold for extended periods while performing duties. Must be able to pick up, hold and move building and maintenance items weighing up to 75 pounds. Must be able to enter, drive, and exit vehicle(s) used by Engineering Department.

Desired Experience Three to five years in building trade. Thoroughly familiar with all aspects of building maintenance (those areas not maintained by Engineering Department Personnel).

Desired Education High School diploma or equivalency and Vocational/Technical training in such areas as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, wiring, floor covering, etc., or equivalent on-the-job training and experience.
