As our Director of Communications and Marketing, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain marketing and communications plans aligned with WesleyLife's sales and marketing strategy.

  • Increase brand awareness, enhance reputation, and generate leads for WesleyLife's services portfolio.

  • Understand WesleyLife's vision and strategies, and align communications plans accordingly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement consistent strategies.

  • Lead internal marketing resources, providing guidance and support.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners.

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to deploy effective sales and marketing strategies.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities.

  • Oversee content planning and production across various channels.

  • Lead media and public relations strategies and activities.

  • Identify public relations opportunities and develop external networks.

  • Develop tracking mechanisms and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness.

  • Manage marketing budgets and track expenses.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate for the Director of Communications and Marketing will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A genuine passion for our mission and services, coupled with the ability to envision and strategize future approaches to serving and supporting older adults.

  • Development experience of annual marketing and communication plans aligned with strategic goals..

  • At least 6 years of experience and a proven track record of success in a senior marketing role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communications plans

  • Must possess exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to function with a high degree of effectiveness as a member of a collaborative work team.

  • Demonstrated experience in translating strategies into actions that align toward needed outcomes at a broader level of impact is required.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Agility in a fast-paced environment, coupled with the ability to inspire the team towards change and continuous improvement.
