DOOSAN BOBCAT Environmental Health & Safety Specialist in JOHNSON CREEK, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company\'s environmental health and safety (EHS) programs. They will assist in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety, provide training to employees, and monitor EHS performance. Role & Responsibility * Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures * Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues * Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on various EHS topics, including but not limited to, hazardous materials handling, emergency response, and workplace ergonomics * Collaborate with different departments to identify and evaluate EHS risks and provide recommendations for improvement * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance * Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive action plans * Monitor and track EHS performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement * Stay current with applicable regulations and industry best practices related to EHS * Assist in the coordination of emergency response drills and exercises * Participate in EHS committees, meetings, and other relevant forums Job Requirement * Bachelor\'s degree in related field or equivalent related experience * Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards * Strong understanding of EHS principles, risk assessment techniques, and hazard identification methods * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey EHS information to diverse audiences * Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to assess data and identify trends * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders * Proficient in using EHS management systems, databases, and software * Experience in conducting EHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations is preferred * Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are a plus * Travel required: \< 10% #WayUp As a part of the Doosan Group, which employs more than 43,000 people in 38 countries worldwide, the company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities.
