Qualifications:

  • Software Engineer with a strong background in Java/J2EE, spring framework, Gitlab, Jira, Oracle 11+, Java 8, Jenkins, and PL/SQL.
  • The Software Development Engineer will be joining a Crew team and contributing to the software design, software development, and overall product lifecycle.
  • Experience in test-driven development and effective unit test creation.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful services.
  • Experience in working with 12-factor methodology and understanding its benefits, and able to demonstrate appropriate patterns to other team members.
  • Experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE, spring framework, Gitlab, Jira, Oracle 11+, Java 8, Jenkins, Gradle.
  • Experience in software development using Agile methodology.
  • Experience in creating self-contained, reusable modules and components.
  • Proficient in query optimization and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • The Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
  • The scope for Developer (Core) is systems based on core technologies, while the scope for Developer (COTS) pertains to custom off the shelf systems.
  • Developer (Niche) refers to niche technologies such as ecommerce systems and Specialty Development interminology refers to Mobility and TPF.
  • Constructs, tests, and implements portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
  • Participates in standard business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems.
