Hours:  Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturday mornings 

Job Summary

We are looking for a Commercial Associate (Sandton)  to enhance the customer experience and grow our client portfolio across the SADC region.  

Overall Purpose

  • To focus on the customer experience and develop key relationships with SA-based clients

  • To promote continual improvement, humility, and safety across the Group

  • Maintain and update pricing database/customer database

  • Consolidate information for preparation of the end-of-month newsletters and reports

  • Prepare and propose sales quotations to management and follow up for approval

  • Analyzing trip costs financials to improve profitability for the fleet

  • Identifying and applying for tenders/ business opportunities

  • Assist the finance and BD team on any purpose when needed

     Formal Training/Education/ Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (ideally in the logistics sector)

  • Formal qualifications in logistics/supply chain preferred

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree 

  • Strong background in Excel 

  • Confident in working with numbers

     Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and arithmetic skills

  • Self-motivation, leadership, and innovation

  • Excellent written English and conversational Mandarin is considered an advantage

  • Committed to completing tasks with efficiency
