Design, develop, modify and debug high performance Web services for next generation of auto insurance products and services using C#/AS P.NET. Design and maintain large scale production application and data platforms. Apply knowledge of all phases of software lifecycle to successfully deploy applications through the development, QA, and production stages. Design and develop application supporting parallel processing, data loading on large scale production environment. Analyze existing and develop new auto insurance rating integrity solutions requiring extensive analysis and applying strategic solutions. Improve operational process through innovative methods and enhancements to the existing solutions. Work with relational databases, handling database design, schema definition and writing SQL stored procedures, triggers, advanced SQL queries. Drive and leading migration of legacy products and applications to next generation platforms involving project planning and developing scripts to support migration. ALL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or other computer related field. Three (3) years of experience with the following: Web application or web service development. Web infrastructure, distributed systems, and component-oriented software engineering using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, web services, SQL Server. Working with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. Large-scale production systems. Web development including database design, performance optimization. Parallel processing, asynchronous applications. Also required is demonstrated knowledge of SOA fundamentals such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Message Queues; and demonstrated knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Position is based out of HQ in Jersey City, NJ but the employee may live and work from anywhere in the U.S.
