Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.DUTIES: Execute critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. Participate in every phase of software development including design, development, testing and deployment of software. Follow best practices for developing high quality and secure software that provides business value and aligns with firm’s CTC requirements. Proactively identify hidden problems and to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems. Conduct production releases and incident/SME support as required. Participate in scrum team stand- ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, collaborate with product, CTC, clients and stakeholders to form the requirements. Contribute to task completion and blocker resolution. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture; Building server side software applications; Front end framework; API; Microservices; QA Unit testing; Scaling and Performance optimization; Jenkins; Spring Hibernate; HTML; Java; JavaScript; Shell Scripting; SQL; REST; Maven; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; GIT; Junit; Manual Testing; Unit Testing; Jira; Integration Tests; and System Design.Full-time.
