Solve variety of technical challenges; build features, APIs, UIs, infrastructure for web platforms using technologies (Python, Django, Django rest framework, Postgres, Redis, celery, Airflow); use Docker virtual environment for development; use Python, Django Rest Framework to implement APIs, Vue.js (JavaScript); write unit tests (pytest), SQL queries, Django ORM; use Celery (asynchronous tasks), asynchronous frameworks (asyncio, aiohttp, aiopg), Docker/docker-compose; work with AWS (S3, ECS, EC2, awscli, Boto3); perform integrations with extra APOs; build complex high-end applications (VueJS); design, build, maintain web applications used by customers; collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product designers, product managers, data scientists to deliver features, build capabilities; solve problems; lead projects/evaluate technical tradeoffs between solutions; architect efficient, reusable APIs, libraries, front-end components; work with multiple teams on cross platform projects: guide product from technical point of view; communicate technical concepts to non/technical audiences; scale up servers according to real time traffic using autoscaling; ensure product quality by writing quality unit/integration tests; perform troubleshooting/debugging for production issues, bugs reported by developers; manage software lifecycle via ticketing/bug reporting systems; use automation testing frameworks; provide mentorship to junior team members. May travel to various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from anywhere in U.S. Travel is required.Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field plus 2 years experience.
