Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.DUTIES: Participate in the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, validation, deployment, and testing. Convert business requirements into technical specifications and software requirements. Design architecture and components of applications and systems utilizing technical approaches such as object-oriented analysis and design. Lead technical design as part of a team of analysts and developers responsible for the program’s software solutions. Develop applications using Java, Spring, microservices, Cloud, and data streaming solutions platform and databases. Modify existing software to enable deployment on new Cloud infrastructure. Utilize test-driven development techniques. Review team's work for technical accuracy and system reliability. Deploy software using build and deployment pipelines.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, Application Developer, Technical Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer/Developer, Application Developer, Technical Associate, or related occupation.
