Als Jabil Optics Germany GmbH (www.jabiloptics.com) in Jena sind wir Teil des weltweit zweitgrößten Auftragsfertigers Jabil und führend bei der Entwicklung von opto-elektro-mechanischen Modulen für Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality, moderne Kamerasysteme sowie Gestensteuerung/ 3D Sensing. Wir entwickeln in einem internationalen Team innovative kundenspezifische Lösungen für weltweit führende Markenhersteller. Jabil beschäftigt global mehr als 260 000 Mitarbeitende. Im Optics Design Center in Jena entwickeln wir mit über 100 Mitarbeitenden opto-elektro-mechanische Design-Lösungen für AR/VR-Brillen, autonomes Fahren (LiDAR, Driver Monitoring, ADAS- Kamera-Systeme, Eye Tracking), Robotics, Action Cameras, Smartphones, Endoskope und viele weitere Anwendungen.
Zur Verstärkung unseres Entwicklungsstandorts in Jena suchen wir unbefristet und in Vollzeit ab sofort eine/n:
Sr. Design Project Manager für die Entwicklung opto-elektro-mechanischer Systeme (m/w/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
Verantwortung für die Planung und Entwicklung von Projekten mit strategischer Bedeutung für Jabil Optics
Zusammenstellung von interdisziplinären, interkulturellen und globalen Teams
Planung und Überwachung der Ressourcen und Kosten
eigenständige Entwicklung von Problemlösungsstrategien und rechtzeitige Intervention bei sich abzeichnenden Problemsituationen
Sicherstellung der Qualitäts-, Kosten- und Termin-Ziele in allen Phasen des Projektes
Verfolgung von Änderungen und Berichterstattung an das Seniormanagement
Mitwirkung bei der technischen Konzeption von komplexen Design-Lösungen für die Massenproduktion
Ihr Profil:
erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in einem technisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Studiengang
fundierte Kenntnisse in Projektmanagement-Prozessen und -Methoden sowie mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Leitung und Mitarbeit von/in Entwicklungs- und Produktionsteams im industriellen Umfeld der Optik/Opto-Elektronik
Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung von opto-mechanischen/ opto-elektronischen Systemen sowie Erfahrungen mit dem Produkttransfer in die Serienfertigung erforderlich
Zertifizierung zum/r Projektmanagementfachmann/-frau (GPM/PMI) wünschenswert
Erfahrungen in Automotive / Medical Branchen sind von Vorteil
sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
verhandlungssichere Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
internationale Reisebereitschaft (bis zu ca. 20%)
