About us: The Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island is opening a new restaurant that is set to redefine dining on the island. Our coastal open-air restaurant will showcase regional seafood and ingredients, providing a unique dining experience for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will make a mark on the island’s restaurant scene.

Job Description:

The first 3 weeks will focus on training, obtaining ServeSafe Food Handler and TIPs certifications, and getting oriented into our company culture/operating guidelines. Upon restaurant opening, responsibilities include but are not limited to Accountable for ensuring interactions between guests and employees are handled properly Responsible for assisting F&B Manager in overseeing day to day restaurant operations Assists in training all lounge/bar staff Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner Keeps F&B Manager fully informed on all matters that require their attention Maintaining contact with kitchen staff, management and serving staff to ensure everything is running smoothly Be up to date on all promotions/packages hotel is offering As needed, collect payment and input into POS Must be able to handle guests requests courteously and work a flexible schedule with professionalism and respect Ensures full compliance with brand, department and hotel standard operating procedures Ensures that all restock, cleaning and side work is completed by the team and steps in to assist as needed May need to step in to cover a shift or assist during busy periods (however note that as a supervisor, this role is NOT tip eligible.) You are the key member making a mark on our guest experience by making them feel welcomed, comfortable and attended to
