General Job Description

The Key Carrier will assist management in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers while coordinating daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders, and payments). The candidate most qualified for the role must be efficient, courteous, and possess excellent customer service skills. In addition, the Key Carrier should have a strong work ethic with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to providing excellent service while maintaining additional supervisor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers

• Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders, and payments)

• Monitor and maintain store inventory

• Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs

• Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best

• Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates

• Suggest sales training programs and techniques

• Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs

• Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning

• Handle complaints from customers

• Research emerging products and use information to update the store's merchandise

• Enforce adherence to company's policies and guidelines

• Act as store's representative and set an example for staff

• Processes return transactions

Education & Skills

• Proven experience as a member of management or similar position

• Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes

• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles

• Leadership and organizational abilities

• Interpersonal and communication skills

• Problem-solving attitude

• 0-1 years management/leadership experience (preferred)

• 1-2 years retail experience (preferred)

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Hours & Compensation

• Able to work a flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays required

• Able to work 40 hours per week

• Starting rate $14/hour or commensurate with experience
