ProSphere Tek Warehouse Clerk Technician in Jeffersonville, Indiana

Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International company (PSI), referred to as PSI-PST is seeking a Warehouse Clerk Technician to support an environment whose primary function is the management of computers and accessories for a large government agency. This is an entry level position working under detailed instruction to perform administrative and physical duties, which includes shipping and receiving. You will also communicate with team members and vendors daily to complete shipping/delivery cycle. This is a full-time position located in Jeffersonville, IN. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.

  • Responsible for unloading and receiving material. This may include loading and unloading materials to or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves and carts.

  • Candidate will verify the correctness of incoming shipments by documenting items and quantities unloaded. Counts material, equipment and posts to inventory records, manually or using a computer

  • Ensures accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as records.

  • Verify against bills-of-landing, invoices and orders, document and photograph any damaged packages

  • Print barcoded labels and shipping labels, prepare packing lists, bills-of-landing and shipping documentation.

  • Coordinate various warehouse activities, including but not limited to verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, materials disposition, and inventory maintenance.

  • Maintain adequate inventory of kitted parts for assembly in production area

  • Enter receive/shipping information into shipping/receiving system In performing day-to-day, routine tasks, the Contractor follows established published guidelines and policy.

  • Perform all work according to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures as well as company processes and safety guidelines

  • Other duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience

  • Basic computer and software experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service experience

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

  • Able to lift, carry, move, load and unload heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

  • Ability to sit at a workstation for long periods of time
