Parsons is now hiring experienced Engineers with a desire to work on large infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community. We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. In this role, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline, which may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.
Responsibilities:
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
Review and coordinate system designs for cryogenic bulk and specialty gas systems.
Ensure materials of constructions are compatible and appropriate for process fluids.
Evaluate and advise on system capacity impacts and requirements based on changing operation and construction scenarios.
Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Reviews design documents produced by other engineering teams for compliance with applicable codes and owner standards.
Interfaces with vendors to review submittals, coordinate interfaces, and perform acceptance testing.
Coordinates with contractors to review completed work, resolve conflicts, and answer RFIs.
Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Reviews supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses and vendor selection
Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 8+ years of related work experience
Experience in large, complex bulk gas delivery and distribution projects, including equipment selection and specification, developing and reading process and instrumentation diagrams, control diagrams, and managing equipment lists.
Experience working on interdisciplinary teams to design new facilities and modifications to existing production facilities.
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Must be proficient with Navisworks for review of 3D designs, coordination, and clash resolution.
Working knowledge of CAD/Revit and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
Must be capable of safely navigating a large construction site, including standing/walking for long periods, walking over uneven terrain, and ascending/descending ladders, stairs, and scaffolds.

Salary Range:
$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
