**Overview:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Orion Wholesale, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions within the shooting sports industry. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely collection of payments from customers, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and reconciling discrepancies. You will play a critical role in optimizing cash flow and minimizing bad debt for the organization.

**Responsibilities:


  • Process customer checks, electronic payments, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to identify and address payment issues.
  • Work closely with the sales team to resolve payment issues and maintain a positive, professional relationship.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their payment status.
  • Contact customers for information on how to process payments.
  • Monitor company accounts receivable emails from both customers and internal employees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Become very skilled in the ERP system related to cash applications.
  • Back-up position for the other Accounts Receivable Specialist.

**Requirements:

**

Bachelors degree in business or accounting is preferred but not required.

Minimum 2+ years working in accounts receivable and cash application.

Accounts receivable or banking experience a plus.

Excellent data entry skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Strong communication with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to adapt to a modern ERP system.
