Basin CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift - BPM in Jefferson, Wisconsin

Basin Precision Machining - Jefferson WI. Monday through Friday, 2nd shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am. Production will be on horizontal machining centers. This position is primarily responsible for production work of a job previously set up on a CNC Machine Center. Base wage commensurate with experience PLUS $2 Shift Premium!

We are an ITAR facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate and accurately load the product on 2 or more work centers to produce good, in-tolerance parts through the trained operation.

  • Understands CNC coordinate systems and offsets, part inspection, print reading.

  • Can recover operation after a sudden stop.

  • Understands the correlation of tooling inspection requirements and be able to adjust the process for tooling conditions.

  • Proficient at required inspection and gauging techniques.

  • Perform all preventative maintenance and cleaning maintenance activities required for the work center and area in which they operate.

  • Accurately report production; understand and consistently produce and maintain the process production quantities needed for the operations performed.

EXPERIENCE:One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

WORK STATUS: Must be a permanent United States resident (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)
