Parsons Corporation Senior Engineer - Electrical (Infrastructure) - Saudi National in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer-Electrical to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the successful execution of a major infrastructure construction project. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Electrical engineering principles and practices, with a proven track record of delivering results on complex projects in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive electrical design strategies and specifications aligned with project objectives and regulatory standards.

  • Lead the design and implementation of power distribution systems, lighting systems, and other electrical components to support project requirements.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making and optimize electrical system designs.

  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, schematics, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to address technical challenges and ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to monitor electrical system installation, identify deviations from design specifications, and implement corrective measures as necessary.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services required for electrical construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure construction projects with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in GCC (KSA Ideally)

  • Proven track record of successful involvement in large-scale infrastructure construction projects

  • Expertise in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
