Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Guest Experience Design Management Specialist to join our team and support our prestigious client in the development of an Oceanarium. As the Guest Experience Design Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every aspect of the oceanarium's interior design contributes to an exceptional guest experience through innovative and immersive design solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with the client, design team, and marine experts to understand project goals, target audience, and thematic elements.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies to enhance guest experience within the oceanarium.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, exhibit designers, marine biologists, and operations managers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.

  • Lead the creation of detailed design concepts, mood boards, and renderings to communicate vision and concepts effectively.

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address any design-related issues, and maintain quality standards.

  • Manage the integration of storytelling, interactive exhibits, and sensory elements to create memorable experiences for visitors.

  • Oversee the selection and placement of interior design elements, including lighting, signage, seating, and decor, to optimize flow and functionality.

  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and maintain competitiveness.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of design elements.

  • Lead user testing and feedback sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior design team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Serve as a liaison between the client and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

  • Uphold the highest standards of quality, creativity, and professionalism in all aspects of design management and execution.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 20 years, including guest experience design, exhibit design, or themed entertainment, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects

  • Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into compelling design solutions.
