Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Mental Health Tech - AD Home/Jasper in Jasper, Alabama

This position includes direct care of our clients living in residential group homes. Duties include meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, medication administration, transportation of clients (with an approved driving record), accurate and timely document log books, and activities. Services performed are similar to those performed in your own home, such as: cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal grooming care, transporting consumers on outings/errands, etc. Job training is provided.

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma/GED (or transcripts) from a state accredited school/source.
  • A current/valid non-expired driver's license or state-issued ID card. The minimum age for employment is 18. If the position requires driving, you must be a minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record.
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
