JOB REQUIREMENTS: SHINE Technologies is seeking a Nuclear Quality Control Inspector to provide inspection and examination support. The Nuclear Quality Control Inspector reviews work packages to ensure inspection and examination requirements are met based on required codes and standards. This position provides support for internal and external auditing and surveillance activities as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities of the Nuclear Quality Control Inspector include, but are not limited to: Identify required inspection and examination (NDE) requirements. Perform required inspections and examinations. The candidate will be required to pursue inspection and examination qualification in disciplines not already qualified in. Identifies non-conforming issues and concerns and subsequently confers with responsible management to resolve issues and provide recommendations to positively influence quality. Manage or participate in surveillance activities. Participate in commercial grade surveys. Reviews and evaluates closure of nonconformance reports. Participate in internal and vendor audits. Provides analysis of technical and quality issues that arise both internally and from vendors. Enters and tracks issues in the SHINE Corrective Action Program (CAP) and is an advocate of the CAP Travel within the US and occasionally outside the country is required. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Certification as Level II in a minimum of two of the following disciplines: Mechanical Inspection, Electrical / I&C Inspection, Civil Inspection, Receipt Inspection, Visual Weld Examination (VT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Interpreter (Level I or higher). Minimum of two years experience Bachelor or Associates degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent related experience is desired. Certified Weld Inspector desired. Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills and good leadership skills to manage Quality Assurance oversight activities.
