Latham, The Pool Company Supply Chain Manager in Jane Lew, West Virginia
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading Order Entry, Scheduling, and Shipping teams at site. The Supply Chain Manager is response for managing the order lifecycle at the site, including establishing new order management processes. The new processes will include order criteria and acceptance, scheduling of production and shipment, purchasing of materials to meet production schedules, and shipping processes. The role will directly manage a team including order entry positions, Scheduler and Shipping Manager. The role will assist in the absence of the Plant Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety: Lead culture of safety and compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
Quality: Foster a facility that produces the world’s best pools.
People Management and Leadership: Hire, train and lead site team.
Customer Service: Ensure processes and team members are aligned to responsiveness, as well as issue resolution/coaching.
Manufacturing: Support facility and Production Manager including scheduling and purchasing.
Logistics: Facilitate 3rd party and in-house CDL resources to meet customer timelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalency with 5 years of manufacturing, installation, or logistics experience.
BS in Safety/Science/Engineering or related field and 3 years manufacturing, installation or logistics experience is preferred.
Ability to recruit and develop high performing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with logistics including oversized loads, crane and forklift operations.
Familiarity with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing processes.
Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, and regulatory agencies.
Ability to influence a shared services organization.
Proficient knowledge of computer usage; including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
