About the role

Day to day this role will involve routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers, and other commercial equipment. Chiller experience will be highly regarded but training is on offer for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Working for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) you will report directly to the Branch Manager, and will be provided with a range of exciting opportunities such as:

  • Exposure to, and projects related to our Chillers and Building ManagementSystems (BMS) In-house product training.

  • Being a member of a small but dynamic local team that is focused on growth.

  • A constant focus on high standards of quality, delivery excellence whilstexceeding customer service expectations

  • Involvement in growing our sales, increasing our market share, and growing the net profitability of our company.

  • Works under direct supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

You will have experience in the HVAC industry and the ability to work flexible hours as needed, including participating in an on-call roster. You will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A high level of communication skills (oral and written)

  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures

  • Ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution.

  • Self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well presented with a can-do attitude.

  • Ability to work unsupervised as part of a close-knit team.

  • Dedicated to high quality EH&S and ethical standards.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components - those with Chiller experience will be highly regarded.

  • Certificate qualifications in Air Conditioning and refrigeration

  • Air-conditioning and refrigeration licence

  • Current and valid Australian driver's licence
