Erdman, Anthony and Associates, Inc. Transportation Construction Inspector in Jamestown, New York

An experienced NICET III certified, Senior Inspector is needed for the NYSDOT Region 5, I-86 Bridge Rehabilitation project over Chautauqua Lake (D264980) in Cattaraugus County, New York. This is a large project with a construction cost estimated to exceed $78 million. Work is ongoing and will be complete in the fall of 2026. Need is immediate.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contractors' work to ensure conformance to contract documents

  • Supervise work of other inspectors

  • Prepare daily work reports documenting completed work for payment to contractor

    Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of NYSDOT construction inspection experience.

  • Prior bridge experience a plus

  • Efficient with the use of Site Manager.
