ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

The Manager at JFK Airport is the management leader for OTG; this position is to assist ing being responsible for all day-to-day concept operations and the training of newly hired assistant managers while achieving operational excellence. This includes Front of the House, Back of the House staffing, development and training, food quality presentation, guest services, and the maintenance of all policies and procedures in the restaurant and retail markets . The Manager is accountable for business and training results in support of operational goals and for supporting assistant managers, Crewmembers, and newly hired Crewmembers in implementing training and ensuring validation occurs and achieving established key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes an attitude of pride, cooperation, and success in the unit and with all Crewmembers

  • Provides leadership to the Crewmembers and newly hired Crewmembers in the Unit

  • Directs the assistant managers and Crewmembers to achieve company standards

  • Establish and maintain the highest standards for food & beverage quality and customer service

  • Accountable for Crewmembers and newly hired Crewmembers to achieve established goals and training paths

  • Accountable for successful onboarding of new hourly crew members ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to be successful and reduce turnover

  • Oversee the administration and validation process for all newly hired Crewmember

  • Directs the team toward achieving the Unit's service and financial goals

  • Maintains a positive work environment for management team and all Crewmembers

  • Provides a workplace free from hazards, following all safety policies set forth by the company, and conforming to any laws and regulations related to the workplace

  • Responsible for corrective actions for Coyle and NSF audits

  • Able to use the crewmember handbook and CBA to understand OTG policies and procedures. Communicate them with consistency

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in hospitality or culinary field is preferred

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of management experience in restaurants or retail- preferably overseeing multi-unit concepts

  • Proficient knowledge of P&L budgeting and forecasting

  • Experience with P&L Analysis is a must

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions

    Pay range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
