You’ll make an impact by:

  • Determine and outline the scope and objectives of the project through a proper Work Breakdown structure.

  • Outlining a budget based on needs and tracking expenditures to ensure project completion on time.

  • Determining resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation - both within and externally.

  • Creating a detailed project plan to schedule major project milestones, workstreams, and activities.

  • Execute the Project’s work packages based on the detailed design, schedule and documents as specified in contract.

  • Ensuring economic success and customer satisfaction for identified packages.

  • Collaborate with other departments like Engineering, Finance, SCM & Logistics for successful project execution

  • Ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes for project controlling and reporting at global and local levels

  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning duties and communicating expected deliverables.

  • Apply industry best practices, procedures, and standards throughout the project's life cycle.

  • Evaluate project performance to find opportunities for Gross Margin improvement.

  • Oversee all phases of a project from inception to completion.

  • Accountable for the allocated project(s)' cost, timeline, quality, and technical performance.

  • Effectively and clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.

  • Provide team, management with regular updates on work completed, plans, budget, strategy, adjustments and overall progress.

  • Identify project challenges and find remedies, such as resource allocation or altering contractual specifications.

  • Manage client expectations throughout the project cycle and lead projects including single and multi-product medium voltage solutions.

  • Proactive contract and claim management & Risk Management.

  • Conduct FAT with customer and close punch points with support of QC.

  • Managing the client's and other stakeholders' relationships and communication to ensure the project is completed to their satisfaction.

  • Conducting Lessons Learned workshop in periodic intervals and successful conclusion of the project.

  • Comply with the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. occupational health and safety and environmental protection)

Qualifications for Project Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • Strong Scheduling skills with experience in MS-Project.

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • Strong technical background about Switchgears (MV,LV, SCADA etc)

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong Contract and claim management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
