You’ll make an impact by

  • Technical Leadership: Provide direction and technical leadership to the engineering team, guiding them in the design and development of switchgear, SCADA & Relay Control Panel (RCP) products.

  • Team Player: Manage and mentor a team of engineers fostering a collaborative, inclusive and innovative work environment.

  • Design Optimization: Optimize the Switchgear design, SCADA & RCP with judicious use of components while ensuring an economic and competitive product solution in accordance with quality standards of SIEMENS.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain robust design quality assurance processes to ensure that switchgear, protection and automation products meet or exceed regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as IEC and local electrical codes, to ensure the legality and safety of switchgear products.

  • Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost optimization in product design and development processes without compromising quality and performance.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure smooth integration of engineering operations with other business functions like project management, manufacturing, Supply chain, Sales & Proposal and customer support.

  • Risk management: To guarantee effective project delivery and customer satisfaction, identify and reduce technical and project risks related to switchgear, protection and automation engineering tasks.

  • Customer Engagement: To stay competitive and satisfy customers, interact with customers to learn about their needs and requirements. Then translate those needs and requirements into product features and advancements.

  • Continuous Improvement: To increase effectiveness, productivity, and creativity, spearhead projects for continuous improvement in engineering processes, technologies, and techniques.

  • Resource efficiency: Ensure project budgets, timetables, and resource distribution to guarantee engineering projects are finished on time and on schedule.

You’d describe yourself as

  • Electrical Engineering Competence: In-depth understanding of electrical engineering principles, particularly in the context of switchgear design, Protection and SCADA operation and maintenance.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and driving performance towards achieving organizational goals.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects related to timely implementation.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and devise innovative solutions.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant industry & IEC standards and regulations governing switchgear design and operation, ensuring compliance and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Technical aptitude: Lifelong learning and staying up to date with advancements in power distribution and renewable energy as well as switchgear technology.

  • Communication Skills: Cooperation and understanding are fostered by the capacity to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical parties.

  • Team Building: The capacity to create and sustain a high-performing engineering team while promoting a culture of accountability, creativity, and professional growth.

  • Good proficiencies in english and Bahasa Indonesia
