Amergis NC School Psychologist in Jacksonville, North Carolina

Amergisis seeking School Psychologists who are passionate about our youth!

Wehave partnered with a School District in the Jacksonville, NC area and they arein need of School Psychologist's for the upcoming '24/'25 school year!

Position Description:

  • Assessing students

    Administering psychological and academic assessments, including formal evaluations of intelligence and academic skills

  • Counseling

    Providing individual and group counseling, conflict resolution, and positive coping skills

  • Developing plans

    Creating intervention plans and behavior modification plans to help students process problems and plan goals

  • Promoting positive behaviors

    Helping students improve their communication and social skills

  • Collaborating with others

    Meeting with parents and teachers to discuss problems and advise school disciplinary practices

  • Researching and implementing

    Studying and implementing behavioral management techniques and learning programs

  • Monitoring progress

    Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and help administrators develop school improvement plans

    Qualifications:

  • NC Psychology Board Licensure

  • Completed School Psychologist grad program

  • *For Travelers - Will interview and offer candidates intending to get Licensure

  • Excellent communication skills

    Contract:

  • $125k salary!

  • Through the entire 2024-2025 school year

  • Monday - Friday schedule

  • Holidays and Weekends Off
