Ruvilla Solutions Food Service Worker in Jacksonville, North Carolina

Description/Job Summary

We're currently offering an hourly rate of $17.32. This includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.

The position also includes earned Vacation and Sick Time and uniforms are provided.

  • We have Three (3) Shifts currently available.

  • Breakfast

  • 3:30am to 8:00am

  • Lunch

  • 10:30 to 2:00pm

  • Dinner

  • 3:30 to 7:30 or 8:00pm

  • You can work one, two or all three shifts for a condensed work week.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to provide cleaning services within a Food Service environment.

  • Must have solid work ethics.

  • Adequate time management

  • Positive attitude

  • Hours of Availability Flexibility

  • Team Work

  • Must be at least 18 years of age (operates industrial machinery)

Experience

  • History of related Food Service work preferable but not necessary.

General Responsibilities

The principal responsibility of the Food Service Worker/Mess Attendant is to ensure we serve our military members meals with 5-Star Service and ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining facility in accordance with the contract requirements.

Essential Functions

Dining Hall

  • Clean all table tops, and ensure that all counters and window sills are free from dust.

  • Ensure that all dining facility floors are swept, and mopped on a daily basis. Bi-weekly floor waxing is also required.

  • Ensure that all napkin dispensers, salt and pepper shakers, and condiments dispensers are full before and after each meal.

  • Work as Line Server, Scullery, Take Out, GI, or in any other mess hall capacity. There is no set work area or tasks, management can dictate job assignments each shift.

  • Daily cleaning assignments, and field day cleaning as needed; which include (but not limited too) wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing, restocking/refilling items, etc.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive motion will be needed during each shift

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry a minimum of 50lbs., as needed.

  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, twist, and extend, for entire shift

Additional Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Company rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Dining Hall Manager, or Project Manager.
