Job Descriptions:

Position Summary

The Foreman provides oversite of rehab developments. This position will manage the budget variance, field crew assigned, quality, and timeline potential. The Foreman will ensure that the Crew Members assigned to the construction site are held accountable to completing the projects accurately and timely. The Foreman will make certain safety and efficiency are prioritized throughout the project timeline.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise, train, and coach a team of Construction Crew Members

  • Lead the development of rehabilitation homes assigned

  • Strategize with the Project Manager to understand priority tasks and timeline completion

  • Communicate any potential adjustments or hurdles to overcome in order to complete the task accurately and timely

  • Assess job significance and assign Crew Members to appropriate job site tasks

  • Ensure safety precautions are followed and updating safety kits on a needed basis

  • Facilitate weekly job site safety meetings and record action items for future reference

Required Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of single family/residential construction experience

  • Residential remodeling, construction, and maintenance experience

  • Knowledge of codes, municipal by-laws, inspection, estimating, and planning

  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

  • Strong organization skills, accurate, and detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities and timelines to achieve results

  • Exhibits sound judgment and swift decision-making skills

  • Exhibit strong attention to detail

  • Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions

  • Ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
