Actalent Survey CAD Technician in Jacksonville, Florida
Description:
Provide office survey support to office staff and Professional Land Surveyors
Produce Lot Certificates, Grading As-builts, Foundation As-builts and calculate earthwork volumes in support of other Housing Services Staff
Respond to requests for data and exhibits by internal and external clients
Update records to track project status and may assist with scheduling of crews
May provide or generate points for layout data in support of field crews
Work closely with Survey Director and Associate Surveyor
Perform research, design and calculations for surveying and mapping projects using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma and relevant surveying or drafting experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam
Experience with Trimble Business Center and GPS data processing a plus
1 year of field survey experience a plus
Survey drafting experience and attention to detail
Self-motivated and the ability to work on repetitive drafting tasks
Familiarity with reading surveying, engineering plans, and conducting relevant computations to determine grades and earthwork volumes
