About the Team:

The Finance Chief Operating Office Business Management & Financial Governance Team supports the Finance COO organization as well as driving key strategic priorities, process improvement and governance across the Finance disciplines.

About the Role:

The Sr Business Associate position is a senior level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a function, specifically Finance COO Resource Management activities.

Position responsible for maintaining a strong and disciplined approach to Headcount Planning, Organizational Design Principles, and Location Strategy supporting the Finance COO organization. This role will maintain detailed tracking of the resource plans and prepare various reporting requirements to support business decision management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead budget/quarterly forecast processes and weekly hiring projections in support of resource planning for the Finance COO Organization

  • Partner with eight teams in Finance COO, HR and Finance to ensure appropriate headcount planning

  • Maintain resource positions in Resources@Citi

  • Perform reactive, proactive, and preventive position attribute management to ensure data integrity

  • Prepare summary presentation materials and present to senior management. Analyze and synthesize information to make informed decisions.

  • Leverage advanced Excel features in support of data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Effectively use data to visualize and communicate findings.

  • Support other administrative duties and ad hoc projects as necessary

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

You must be in the Jacksonville, FL. area and report on site 3X/week.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience within the Financial Services industry or Business Execution functions

  • Previous resource management and/or workforce planning, preferred

  • Experience in data analysis with advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills

  • Knowledge of Excel Power Query a Plus.

  • Experience developing presentation material w proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint

  • Proven relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across teams, executive management team and key functional support areas

  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and work well on cross-functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests

  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly in a dynamic, fasts-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree

  • Master’s degree a plus

  • PmP, PgMP are a plus
