SUMMARY: Responsible for performing highly specialized, professional level, accounting duties according to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Develop monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial statements and reports, including reports and support for footnote disclosures for GAAP consolidated and statutory audits. · Contribute to the management of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process. · Work with external auditors on annual audit requests for consolidated and statutory reporting. · Prepare various account reconciliations and journal entries for the corporate function. · Assist with the maintenance of general ledger accounts. · Lead or participate in complex general accounting projects. *EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited 4-year university or college EXPERIENCE:3 - 5 years of experience in a progressively responsible accounting role. TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel in addition to advanced proficiency with accounting systems. Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency of working with large datasets in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Excel Power Pivot/Power Query) also preferred. COMPETENCIES:Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Knowledge and ability to apply GAAP to transactions applicable within the Company. Ability to apply GAAP reporting requirements in the writing of annual reports. OTHER: CPA required.
