Fluidra ’s looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL .

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Inspection of finished and in-process products by performing visual, dimensional and documentation inspection and audits

  • Using inspection equipment, measuring techniques and use of PC and mainframe computer system

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis

  • Follow specified procedures or instructions within the framework of the product quality requirements

  • Participate in Kaizens and other continuous improvement activities

  • Assist in c onduct ing Product Tests and Assessment.

  • Document non conformances

  • Ensure required GMP is being followed

  • Perform related duties as assigned by Manager

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • Must have 3+ years in a quality control position in a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers

  • Excellent computer proficiency

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing full support to the production team

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

  • Ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions

  • Ability to read measuring instruments (micrometers, scales, calipers, and indicators)

  • ISO 9001 experience is a plus

    EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate degree or Technical certificate preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to talk, listen and communicate clearly with coworkers
