Are you ready to be a vital part of a dynamic construction company that's redefining outdoor living spaces? Our team is seeking a Purchase Order Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about precision and efficiency. As a Purchase Order Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the seamless processing of purchase orders. Your primary responsibility will involve accurate and timely data entry of purchase orders into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will collaborate closely with various teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold our commitment to excellence.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Process payments received from customers, whether by check, credit card, or electronic transfer, and ensure that payments are applied correctly to outstanding invoices.

  • Review contracts and sales agreements to ensure that all billing terms and conditions are accurately reflected in the invoices and that any special arrangements, discounts, or warranties are properly documented.

  • Facilitating smooth invoice processing and promptly resolving any account discrepancies.

  • Processing of customer purchase orders in a timely manner through data entry via our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

  • Issuing monthly account statements to ensure transparency and clarity in financial communications.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all billing transactions, payments received, and outstanding balances would be essential for financial reporting and auditing purposes.

  • Monitoring accounts receivable aging reports to track outstanding balances and follow up with customers on overdue payments.

  • Managing the company's orders inbox and taking phone calls from customers.

  • Providing quotes to customers upon request.

  • Coordinating shipments of customer purchase orders with warehouses and vendors.

  • Notifying customers of product shipments and available tracking information.
