Job Description

Are you seeking a rewarding career with a company that supports those who protect us? BAE Systems maybe that company for you. We are presently seeking to hire Marine Services Technicians from Helpers to Senior Mechanics in support of our Jacksonville Fl. Ship Repair Facility.

The selected candidate will be required to setup ship/vessels for any pumping operations. Also required to set up air services. Operate Truck and assigned tank cleaning duties as required. able to blank tanks and submit blanking logs. Must obtain the following required tools:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Ability to operate a vacuum truck.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to work with others as a team.

6 months experience working in a Heavy Industrial Environment.

Rated Mechanics must have the following tools upon hire.

drive ratchet & sockets from 3/8 up to 1

Wrenches from 3/8 up to 1

Metric sockets and wrenches from 10mm up to 22mm

Crescent wrenches 8 , 10 and 12

18 pipe wrench

Phillips and Flat Head Screw Drivers

Small Pry Bar

Pocket knife

Must be able to obtain and maintain Defense Biometric Identification System "DBIDS" access card.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $29952 - $52000

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
