PeopleReady Concrete Worker in Jacksonville, Florida

As a Concrete Worker with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support our customer on a commercial project located in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you'll earn up to $27 an hour (based on experience), enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. Note - The pay rate for this job is $22 - $27 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Able to read and understand blueprints 

  • Form ground and vertical forms for sidewalks, drive areas, and concrete columns

  • Measure, cut, and assemble boards, timbers, or plywood based on precise measurements

  • Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. 

  • Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters, patch voids Use saws to cut expansion joints

 Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to measure, cut, and set forms

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Prior experience in the carpentry field required

  • Prior experience using power tools such has jack hammers, grinders, and concrete saws

  • Own tools and ability to bring them to the job site with you each day
