Application Support Specialist (Onsite)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Application Support Specialist in Jacksonville, FL . The successful candidate in this role you will be tasked with supporting our world-leading software solutions targeted to support our sustainment solutions at Boeing’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility) in Jacksonville, our Digital Showcase for an MRO. This role requires an individual to work with cross functional teams supporting both Technicians as well as the applications being used. You will need to be able to troubleshoot a variety of users reported issues, provide training when necessary, and provide reporting to both the users as well as other internal teams. Being passionate about solving complex real-world problems leveraging the use our technologies. You will want to work directly with end users understanding their business and using technology to solve their problems and improve efficiency—delivering solutions that the clients truly benefit from. Problem solving gets you excited, especially together with others, working tightly in a team with the users. Collaboration and communication are your strengths.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Must be customer service oriented/focused

  • Must possess the ability to speak in front of large crowds and to all levels of Boeing personnel

  • Responsible for possessing an in-depth knowledge of current GOLDesp MRO capabilities

  • Responsible for having at minimum a high level knowledge of all GOLDesp capabilities

  • Attend Tier 1 & Tier 2 Program Meetings or any ad-hoc meetings as required/requested.

  • Field Questions/concerns from customers/users.

  • Provide Over the Shoulder Training (OJT)

  • Perform periodic walk throughs of all areas (Be Visible)

  • Provide feedback to any and all program/site representatives on uses of GOLDesp

  • Work closely with Level 1 site/program SME’s, Core Functional SME’s and Boeing Account Manager to provide support pertaining to GOLDesp

  • Assist the site in testing system upgrades and regression testing as requested

  • Gain an Understanding of Boeing Ticketing/Help needed processes

  • Support programs and functions with LEAN events pertaining to GOLDesp

  • Support program(s) processes from a technical prospective as it relates to GOLDesp

  • Facilitate/Assist in scheduled GOLDesp training sessions as requested

  • Gain a High-level understanding of all program(s) process flows.

  • Assist in troubleshooting of customer issues and determine root cause (process, training, software defect etc.)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Working and in-depth knowledge of current GOLDesp MRO capabilities

  • Experience in maintenance (Organization, Intermediate, Depot, Component Levels), supply/logistics, and/or property management

  • Good team player with excellent analytical and reasoning skills, dynamic thinker, and a positive attitude

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Deep knowledge of at least one GOLDesp functional module (Material, Maintenance, Assets, etc.) and high-level knowledge of all GOLDesp functional modules

  • Knowledge of Boeing MRO’s or MRO systems is a plus

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations. Summary base pay range $102,000 – $124,500
