This Position is for a Service Technician III with a company located in Jackson, Brookhaven and Laurel.

 

Job Summuary: A service technician will be a part of a team that will focus on maintaining an assigned account, or group of accounts. This position focuses on ensuring our chemical feed equipment is properly working and our products are transferred in a safe manner. Safety and communication are the highest priorities in this job. It's important to discuss all daily, or weekly, tasks with you engineer/sales team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation. Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment. Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site. Alerts the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues. Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts. Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment. Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.

 

Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Position requires flexibility in schedule including after hours calls from the customer that require after hours service visits. Position is primarily M-F day shift, but also includes weekend OT hours that is rotated between the technicians. Minimum 5 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment. Chemical handling experience desired, but not required. Must live within 1 hour of customer
