In this position…

Analytics architecture position in ford credit is responsible for Data/Solution/Application architecture. Architecting and implementing next generation data and analytics platforms on GCP. Responsibility includes understanding business requirements and defining technical architecture-based solutions that align to Ford Motor Company’s Patterns and Standards. Works with Product teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability and reliability) Develops and Communicates Architecture design for new products/features. Supports the Product team in the development of the technical design and documentation. Provides support such as troubleshooting to application performance issues. Participate in vendor solution evaluation processes. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

What you'll do…

  • Architect and implement next generation data and analytics platforms on GCP

  • Understand business requirements and apply architecture principals and standards to design technical solutions.

  • Design flexible automated solutions for data processing from multiple sources and integrate massive complex datasets to meet enterprise data needs.

  • Build solution architecture, provision infrastructure and secure analytical applications on GCP

  • Adopt Jira to manage architecture work and deliver using agile and Lean methodologies.

You'll have…

  • Strong application architecture, design, development background, with deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts and associated implementations. In-depth understanding of Google’s product technology and underlying architectures.

  • Knowledge of enterprise frameworks and technologies, supporting architecture and design patterns. Expertise in secure interoperability standards and methods.

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in application architecture, design, and development.

  • 3+ years of experience in modernizing legacy data platforms to cloud architecture.

  • 2+ years of recent architecture experience in cloud analytics space using Google cloud services.

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise architecture tools and processes (CBID, Tech 07, EAA, etc.).

  • Deep technical subject matter expertise in Data Warehouse, Data lakes, Data domains, Data models, ETL processes. Experience in data management and Cloud data platforms. Experience working in GCP based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging Big Query, Big Table, Google Cloud Storage, PubSub, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataplex, Astronomer etc.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and willingness to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Attention to details and passion/pride in producing Quality deliverables.

  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certified 

  • Ford Credit Data warehouse experience
