Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a classroom of students, providing a safe and nurturing environment - Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans - Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment - Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles - Provide behavioral therapy and support for students with special needs, including those with autism or hearing impairments - Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and effective communication - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior Experience: - Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development - Familiarity with special education practices, including working with students with autism or hearing impairments - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
