About the Job This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position. Sunday to Thursday and every other Friday Hours: 8pm to 6:30am
What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. Safe operation of forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and hand jack Railcar or pneumatic railcar movement experience is highly desirable Bulk receiving experience highly desireable Requires oral, written and communication skills Must be able to handle many diversified tasks at one time and correctly prioritize time Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Computer skills helpful
What You'll Do as a Shipper/Receiver Compare counts, weights or measurements as listed on the shipping documents and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records Responsible for the offloading of all bulk raw materials, moving railcars, removal of spent fumigant from railcars in summer months, and cleaning the bulk unloading area. Examine the incoming and outgoing trucks to insure they are clean and meet standards for food and safety standards Use warehouse computer equipment to pull product based on shipping documents. Stage if required or load directly into the truck. Pallet inspection SAP batch entry and review Stock rotation (FIFO) Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion. Adhere to GMP, Food Safety, International Food Standards (IFS) and American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and supports the Circle of Excellence.
