About the project: 

A world-first, scalable audio solution that delivers in-sync, immersive high-quality audio to audiences using their own mobile phones and earbuds. A perfect software solution for outdoor movie screenings, light projections with audio, fireworks and drone shows, and audio tours. The system consists of two native mobile applications based on the ticketing service, a web-based back-office, and a desktop player with a finely tailored backend that provides perfect sync between video and HQ audio for mobile users.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Android Developer;

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android development;

  • Extensive experience with Clean Architecture and separation of concerns;

  • Experience with Kotlin coroutines and Flow;

  • Demonstrated ability to refactor and improve legacy codebases;

  • Strong understanding of Android UI components, including activities, fragments, and custom views;

  • Experience with repository patterns and ViewModel architecture;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and collaboration skills;

  • At least an Intermediate level of English.

     

    Will be a plus:

  • Experience with multimedia applications and audio/video handling in Android;

  • Knowledge of Android Foreground Services for background operations;

  • Familiarity with modern navigation components and Jetpack libraries;

  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques on Android.

     

    Responsibilities:

  • Refactor the existing application to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability;

  • Implement Clean Architecture principles, creating and integrating repository and ViewModel classes;

  • Optimize key UI components and migrate to a Single Activity architecture using fragments;

  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth integration and alignment with project goals.
