Boehringer Ingelheim Product Manager in Istanbul, Turkey

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Animal Health Product Manager – Ruminant and Equine based in Turkey. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic plans and goals to maximize business profitability, provide critical advise on treatment, nutrition and prevention and develop strategies in key account management to increase awareness and focus on products’ penetration.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Marketing:

  • Create and implement marketing plans and make improvements in line with the business unit’s strategies

  • Implement the strategic goals in the field and making field visits to ensure proper execution

  • Plan and execute campaigns and promotion materials together with field force

  • Monitor and review the pricing strategy to maximize sales and profitability

  • Analyze the local and global data and interpret them to prepare and revise the marketing plans

  • Develop and implement innovative projects to increase market share and report the outcomes

  • Prepare sales forecasts and ensure revision with internal and regional stakeholders

  • Provide needed marketing trainings and guidance to the field force to ensure marketing activities are aligned with objectives

  • Represent the company in congress, seminars, events and industry associations by active participation

Technical:

  • Act as the first line technical advisor of the clinics and key accounts in terms of treatment, nutrition and prevention expertise

  • Develop the knowledge of the field force on the product portfolio by providing regular trainings

  • Drive innovation and product development ideas based on the market tendencies and trends

  • Assess the market and make technical competition analyses in order to measure the competitiveness and prepare regular reports

  • Ensure consistent communication with the global technical team to receive information about products and the latest technical developments

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements

KOL Relations and Key Account:

  • Perform regular field visits to key accounts and provide information regarding products’ features and latest global developments with field force

  • Develop strategies in key account management to increase awareness and focus products’ penetrations

  • Organize meetings, seminars and events in order to strengthen company's presence

  • Establish strong relations with professors, key opinion leaders, veterinary faculties and government institutes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science; Masters/PhD is an asset

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with marketing and technical background

  • Working experience within a multi-national company is preferred

  • Flexible to travel for work

  • Military duty has been completed

  • Proficiency in English, in its written and oral form

  • Effective communication with ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Highly motivated and capable of driving change and achieving results

  • Capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing workload
