For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Business Unit in Kartal/Istanbul, we are looking for a Solution Architect in E-House (Prefabricated Electrical Substation Solution) which will focus heavy industries / hydrogen Business.

This role will be responsible for preparation/support of project feed phase, Technical Business Development E-House and Service Consulting based on Siemens Guidelines.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Understands the customer requirements, reading specs, technical documentation and develops technical dialogue with customer

  • Pre-selection of power systems and equipment (incl. 3rd party)

  • Coordination with internal involved teams (MV&LV Proposal, engineering, system specialists / architects, Project Management etc. Teams).

  • E-House specific requirements definition

  • Performs EH conceptual design / layout according to clearance distances/specifications by information of Siemens and 3rd party equipment

  • Supply chain assessment (with procurement) As well as collection and evaluation of sup-supplier offers. Performs the review of task plans, drawings and installation schematics

  • Assess vertical specific solution requirements / check with customer

  • Pre-selection of potential (E-House) vendors in coordination with procurement

  • Defines scope of supply (inclusions and exclusions)

  • Prepares project cost estimation

  • Prepares preliminary project planning/schedule

  • Performs logistic assessment

  • Evaluates the project risks and opportunities.

  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical (Prefered) or Mechanical Engineering

  • Very good command of Turkish & English.

  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office Applications and Office 365

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal, project or site management, preferably in solution/turn key business.

  • Knowledge on engineering drawings in various voltage levels such as SLD, GA, wiring diagrams, Installation Dwgs, layout, integration and interface engineering etc.

  • Knowledge on MV and LV switchgear, UPS and battery systems, variable speed drives, transformers, SCADA, HVAC, fire alarm systems etc.

  • Engineering CAD knowledge is an asset.

  • No restriction to travel within Turkey and abroad.
