Job Description Summary

GE Aerospace is offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and applications, specializing in aircraft engine design and analysis, in a technology base. Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kartal/ İstanbul is one of GE Aerospace's nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements

  • Required analysis will range from Low cycle fatigue (LCF) and fracture mechanics lifing analysis of critical parts or mission analysis

  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers

  • Document and communicate results of technical data generated

  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

  • Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives

  • Share information and promote open dialogue

  • Being member of Life Management team as IC role

Requirements:

  • PhD./ Master and Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • Min 4 years experiences in Aerospace

  • Fundamental FEM knowledge/ Damage Tolerance/ Life Management

  • Excellent command in English both verbal& written

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in life management or aviation preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
